Survey for AG's Office on Environmental Justice and Energy Equity
The MA Attorney General’s Office is looking at whether the Dept. of Public Utilities & Environmental Facilities Siting Board processes are accessible to everyone. They are inviting feedback about participation in government proceedings that affect our daily lives like energy utility rates and siting for energy infrastructure projects.
Their stated goal is to promote environmental justice and energy equity. Climate Action Now encourages people across the state to fill out this 10 minute survey.
Solving the Winter Energy Problem Webinar

Year-after-year, ISO-NE, New England’s regional electric grid operator, announces the region may have inadequate energy supplies to power the entire electric system without blackouts during the winter. Join Acadia Center’s Amy Boyd and Melissa Birchard as they pull back the curtain on this question and present the clean energy solutions we can look towards to finally solve this problem. Hadley residents will vote on October 27th on A Resolution Declaring a Climate Crisis! You can read the full draft of the resolution here. Join Youth Climate Action Now for an inclusive and intergenerational conversation around environmental justice!
Youth Climate Action Now will be partnering with the Zonta Women's Club of Northampton to run an Intersectionality Workshop. This hybrid event offers the option join us in person or hop on a zoom call and participate virtually.
November 17th from 7:00-8:00 pm
The goal is to start an inclusive and intergenerational conversation around environmental justice! This will be a youth-led discussion facilitated by Ollie Perrault. Ollie (age 15), director and founder of Youth Climate Action Now has been a leading member of Mass Audubon's Youth Climate Leadership Program since she was 11.
