Apply: Eastern Christianity Post-docs (2016–19: Oxford)
Applications are open for THREE post-doctoral fellowships at Oxford to work on a project directed by Dr. John-Paul Ghobrial (Balliol College, Oxford) on Eastern Christianity, ca. 16th-18th centuries. These posts are for three years each (2016-2019), and they will be amazing opportunities for early career researchers looking for an opportunity to research the world of Eastern Christianity in the early modern period.
While the project has a particular interest in researchers working on Arabic and/or Syriac materials, one of the posts is also available for a scholar working on European sources on Eastern Christianity. The links below give access to the adverts and further details of the posts and projects:
2 posts for Research Associates in Arabic/Syriac materials:
1 post for a Research Associate on ‘European Visions of the Christian East, ca. 16th-18th centuries’:
The deadline for applications is noon GMT on 1 June 2016.
