The Three Most Interesting History Stories I've Found:
Some amazing Iron Agegraves from around 2200 years ago are being dug up in Yorkshire - in Pocklington, to be exact. First, there's a warrior who was ritually buried with nine spears piercing his poor dead body (How did he die? A blow to the head;and the spears were added later). Second, an older man was interred with his chariot and ponies--and the poor animals may have been buried alive.
These are the latest finds in an Iron Age cemetery that was only discovered in 2014.
4.8 million Lego pieces were in a container on a ship off the Cornwall coast in 1997. A powerful wave tipped the ship and that container (along with 61 others) went into the sea. Guess what? Lego pieces are still washing up on the Cornwall coast! Here's a video from 2017: a die-hard adventurer spent a week at the beach, determined to find her share of Legos. They are getting rarer. As vacations go, I don't think it's a bad idea. (spoiler: 1st find at 9 minutes in.)
Stairway to Heaven! Peace Train! After Midnight!
And if those song titles don't stir memories, how about Bowie, Pet Shop Boys, the Stones, Cat Stevens, Bob Marley?
All used this HeliosCentric console(actually, two consoles joined together) for their great hits. And this console, sold at auction on December 11 (along with other ROCK memorabilia), brought in over $140,000.
The biggest success at the auction, though, was a 1967 Flying V guitar used by K. K. Downing of Judas Priest. THAT went for $189,000!

Because I am getting obscene spam sent to me from - of all people - Vickey Kall, I have eliminated several newish subscribers who used an IP address as their first name. I suspect that allowed them to email in my name.
My apologies to anyone who received this loathsome phoney mail from me! And my apologies if my fix has booted anyone off the list who was innocent ... of course, you won't see this apology because you've been deleted. I did send you an email alerting you, however.
Hope this fixes the problem. And if anyone has advice or suggestions, I welcome them!
