Advent invites us to prepare for the coming of Jesus, our Savior. Our Lord did not come to us as a domineering king. He, instead, came in the night, in a lowly manger stripped of the entitlements expected of a king on earth. There Mary and Joseph shared the most beautiful experience - life and joy. In the simple and precious moments of this season, may we encourage one another to be present to each other. To be humble before God and give thanks for the year that was and to ask for His blessings for the coming year. We hope some of the resources shared below will spark ideas for you and your team as you wrap up a big year.

We are reminded that just a year ago, we experienced an amazing national event that gave young people the opportunity to encounter God in many different and profound ways. Launching the Year of Youth, the Australian Catholic Youth Festival, brought to life a new generation of young people enthusiastic about the faith and taking ownership of their call to evangelise.
