Werriwa eNewsletter

20 August 2021

Dear <<First Name>>.

COVID-19 continues to spread through NSW and across the country.

This week has seen successive days of 600+ cases in NSW. Please continue to follow the health advice, get vaccinated, wear a mask and only leave home for essentials.

Bizarrely, NSW Health have decided to temporarily close our region's mobile vaccination hubs for two-and-half weeks.

It is frustrating that we are being told time and again that we must be vaccinated, and now resources are being diverted to other areas. The mixed messaging must come to an end and our region must stop being treated as an afterthought.

If you are struggling in lockdown see 'Useful Coronavirus Links' in the below newsletter where you can find support for your family and all COVID-19 related information.

If you need mental health support, or just someone to talk to, you can call Lifeline on 131 114, Beyond Blue on 1800 512 348, or Suicide Callback on 1300 659 467.

Kind Regards

Be sure to check out National Science Week Facebook page for online events with activities which can be done at home by adults, children and family groups.
