Cory Buttrick came into the weekend in Cross Fork, PA feeling good and ready to put in a good performance. Talking with Cory the day before the event he said he had a good feeling and was ready to put in a great ride at an event that hasn't been too good to him in the past. The day started off in a grass track section that Cory came through 7th Overall in that section. Moving forward Cory put his head down and was charging the rest of the day.

Cory was able to tie his last finish at the National Enduro with another 4th place overall in a very stacked NE Pro1 Class. After the race talking with Cory, he stated he wasn't disappointed with his riding but he felt like they were good enough to podium. He is looking for nothing short of the Podium at the next round in his home state of Ohio.

The XC Gear/ Enduro Engineering/ Husqvarna Race Team extended a last minute fill in ride invitation to Troy Horbaty after Jake Froman was not quite ready to race. Troy is from Manitoba Canada and is the ripe age of 14. Troy and his father flew in for the race and could not have been more excited. He signed up for the NE Pro2 class and lined up for his first National Enduro. Starting on row 25 Troy was able to put in a very respectable ride to finish 7th in the NE Pro2 class. Look for this kid to be getting faster with age and experience, it might be a name you will get to know well.
Troy was looking good in his fresh kit From FXR.

Next up for the XC Gear/ Enduro Engineering/ Husqvarna Race team is the Little Raccoon National Enduro in Wellston, OH on August 25th. Cory is looking to be on the Podium in front of a home crowd in Ohio. Jake Froman lined up for a local race a week ago and was unable to finish due to the wrist not being 100% yet. He is close and looking to be back to speed for the Little Raccoon National Enduro.
Thank you to our great partners that help make the race team a success.
As always we would like to say thanks to those who have partnered with the XC Gear/ Enduro Engineering/ Husqvarna Team.
