The 2020 season got underway for the XC Gear/ Enduro Engineering / Husqvarna Race Team in Sumter, SC at the first round of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series. Noah Clark was looking to put in a good ride for his NE Pro2 class premier, while Ryder Lafferty was sidelined for round 1 do to a practice crash that resulted in a broken foot.
Though Ryder Lafferty was unable to make it to the National Enduro, his bike was looking awesome in the pits.
Ryder Lafferty was putting in some practice time at home in New Jersey on his Husqvarna FC350 when he collided with a tree that resulted in a broken foot. He had surgery on the foot last Friday and is on his way to recovery. Ryder unfortunately had to sit out the first round of the National Enduro Series and will miss the first couple of rounds in the GNCC series as well. Ryder is continuing his training while doing rehab and looks to be back soon to put in some good rides in the NE Pro1 class of National Enduros and the XC2 class of GNCC's.
The XC Gear/ Enduro Engineering/ Husqvarna pits was looking great at the opening round of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series.
Noah Clark was excited for his first season on a support team and first season moving up to the NE Pro2 class. Noah was coming off a very commanding AA National Enduro Championship in 2019 and was looking to build on that for the 2020 season in the NE Pro2 class. Noah got off to a good start after test 1 in South Carolina coming through in 5th place in the stacked 22 rider class. Noah was putting in a charge in the second section when he was kicked into a tree that stopped him in his tracks resulting in a concussion. Noah finished that section before making the decision to pull out on the day. Noah had a visit with the doctor earlier this week that advised him to stay off the bike for a couple of weeks to rest his head, and will take necessary steps to return to riding and is likely to line up again for round 2.
