Eastwood House, an ideal Retreat venue
Eastwood House (PH8 0HY) stands on the bank of the River Tay about ½ mile east of Dunkeld in Highland Perthshire. One of the most popular holiday areas in Scotland, it is very accessible by both road and rail from across Scotland and the rest of the UK. Sleeping accommodation is in beautifully light (airy in the summer, and cosy in the winter) shared rooms of 2 – 4 participants, many south facing with a gorgeous river view, and all on the first floor. The workshop rooms are on the ground floor with open fires. There is central heating throughout, and lots of hot water for baths and showers, with lovely gardens to walk and meditate in.

Divine Dining
We can find nourishment and support for this season in eating simple; seasonal warming foods. Maria and her team will cater for all dietary needs with delicious food such as spiced chai porridge for breakfast; carrot, coconut and lemongrass soup for lunch; and roast veg casserole with Yorkshire puds, and creamy dreamy horseradish mash for dinner. You will even be delighted by home baking in the breaks, and hot mulled apple and pomegranate juice as a bedtime warmer.

We will gather together and rejoice; for this is the month when the sun will begin its return to us, inch by inch. Combine gentle movement and activity with heart-warming socialising and stillness, to circulate well-being and protect against cold and stagnant Qi during the deep midwinter.
