Kingdom leaders become a depository of secrets from the lives of many. They are sought for advice and guidance on a regular basis. Confidentiality becomes an important character trait for each leader. Privileged information must be handled carefully and discreetly.

Where do you take your secrets? Who in your life is a true confidant that you can share your fears, struggles and confusion? Do you allow someone to keep you accountable for your private life? Or do you hold people at a distance with your growl?

Joseph of Arimathea kept his faith in Jesus a secret. His fear prevented him from letting others know that he was a disciple.

John 19:38 (NIV)  Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jewish leaders With Pilate’s permission, he came and took the body away. [1]

Find a safe place to share your secrets and issues. Each of us needs a true friend that will listen carefully, question wisely and give healthy advice for our leadership. Kingdom leaders do not stand alone against the enemy.

Many care and engage us! We pray that you have the same.
