Working together to make Birmingham a better place for everyone

Get your ticket for a tour of BMAG's glorious galleries

We may not be able to come together in person, but we'd love for you to join us later this month for a tour of Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery (BMAG) from the comfort of your own home.

We'll be joining an experienced guide for a live tour followed by a Q&A session. Using the online platform Zoom, we'll see highlights from a number of galleries, including much-loved works from the Pre-Raphaelite and Modern Art collections as well as the Round Room.

The tour is at 11am on Tuesday 23rd June - so just in time to make an ideal Father's Day gift for the art lovers in your life.  For more information and to buy your tickets, go to Eventbrite.

Home learning resources

Last month we announced the postponement of the Next Generation Awards (NGAs). However, our citizenship committee has put together a resource pack so young people can continue their citizenship education from home. Request a copy for your school to distribute.

Planning committee update

Every wanted to know more about the planning committee? We've just published an adapted version of their terms of reference.  For more, take a look at their June update, including news on the much-awaited Haywood Award.
