Rainbow Storytime and Living Library

Get the glitter ready as Rainbow Storytime NZ are visiting Nelson for two spectacular events!

This is a chance to hear books about acceptance, diversity, inclusion and being kind, play some fun games and meet some fabulous drag queens with plenty of colours.

Living Library is designed around learning how the duo became Erika & Coco, how they identify and is a chance to ask any questions you have about the LGBTQIA+ community.
A big thanks to Q Youth who will also be attending the Living Library session to provide support and information for Nelson LGBTQIA+ young people and their whānau.

Bookings are limited so secure your spot by contacting library@ncc.govt.nz or phoning (03) 546 8100.

Tuesday 7 June
Rainbow Storytime at 10.30am
Living Library (age13+) at 3.45pm.
A reminder, Nelson is still recording significant numbers of cases of COVID-19 per day, so wearing an effective mask when inside is a really important measure to protect our community. Thanks!

Please check our website or Facebook page for the most up-to-date information. We’re taking action to keep them open as much as possible while COVID-19 is in the community. However, things can change at short notice as the Omicron outbreak impacts staffing and services. We can be reached at library@ncc.govt.nz or on (03) 546 8100 if you have any further questions.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
