Vermont's 2016 Tree Stewards
Each year the Vermont Urban & Community Forestry Council sponsors the Tree Steward Awards as a way to recognize Vermont’s community tree and forests champions. This year they were honored at our Arbor Day Conference.
We held the first ever Vermont Arbor Day Conference on Friday, May 6th. The UCF team (pictured below) would like to thank all who attended and presented; it was a great day! Check out photo highlights by clicking here.
Looking to plant a tree and don't know what to plant? Check out our own tree interactive tree selection tool to help!
To help us celebrate and spread the word about Arbor Day, we invited students to participate in the celebration by creating art inspired by trees. This year's theme was: Healthy Trees, Healthy Communities. Check out the winners here!
