Dear Ingleside Families,

I am very excited to announce a schedule change for Ingleside students. As you know, students are currently attending three classes each day, on a Day 1/Day 2 schedule. Because of Ingleside’s unique schedule, where students attend five classes each day, we have a great opportunity.

Beginning Tuesday, January 19, 2021, Ingleside students will attend all classes each day following our every other day white/blue elective schedule for 45-minute class periods. This means that students on white days will attend ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and their white day elective and on blue days students will attend ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and their blue day elective. Individual student schedules will NOT change.
  • In-person and EDL class instruction will occur from 7:45am-11:55am.
  • For in-person learners, there will still be “grab and go” lunch and transportation immediately following our release at 11:55am.
  • Our Safe Place to Learn Learning Lab will also be available for those who signed up.
  • Extended Learning Time (ELT) will still be available for all students from 12:40pm-2:20pm every day except Wednesday. Rather than having a set period by period schedule, we will be creative in how we structure this time between 12:40pm-2:20pm in order to allow teachers the ability to make it most appropriate and useful for their individual students/classes. Each teacher will send communication to students and families and post their specific schedule of times on their Google Classrooms.
  • New bell schedules are attached here.
  • Please note the class time differences for Wednesdays. On Wednesdays, we will have a 25-minute Advisory time included with first period to allow for us to continue Second Step and other Social Emotional Learning (SEL) opportunities. On Wednesdays, classes will be 40 minutes, rather than 45 minutes to support this time.

We are very excited to transition to this new schedule on January 19 as we know there are many benefits to students attending all their classes daily, whether in-person or EDL.

Thank you for your continued support! If you have any questions, please contact me.

In partnership,
Erin Kadera, Proud Interim Ingleside Principal

Our percent of students who qualify for free and reduced has declined to a point that we could lose our Title I status.
  • These funds help pay for one of our counselors, our Instructional Specialist, our intervention teachers, supplies and professional development for teachers, and parent involvement activities.
Your application can be submitted online at Free and Reduced meal applications online.
  • If you qualify, your family not only receives support with breakfast and lunch, but also reduced fees for athletics and other extra-curricular needs.
Please use a computer -- not a phone -- to complete the application.  (The website doesn't work smoothly on a phone...)

If you need help completing the application, please contact Leticia Pereda, our Community Specialist at, or your child’s guidance counselor. Your help is greatly appreciated!
