It is hard to believe, but we are preparing to wrap up the 3rd quarter of the 20-21 school year in two weeks! Thanks for continuing to support our efforts each and every day!
I am excited to announce that Mr. Eric Dimmery was selected as Ingleside’s Charros Teacher of the Year! He was nominated by his colleagues and selected by a school level committee. He will be honored at a virtual banquet in April! Congrats, Mr. Dimmery!
Wow…we have been very spoiled recently! Our amazing Ambassadors decorated every teacher’s door with lots of love and sunshine for Valentine’s Day. When teachers arrived at school on Friday, February 12 they were blessed with beautiful decorations on their classroom doors or outside wall areas. On Wednesday, February 17, the entire staff was treated to Zoyo by our amazing PTO. We appreciate the kind gestures and love that were shown to us by both of these outstanding groups!
It is very worrisome to us when we are not able to reach a parent or emergency contact when we have a medical or academic concern. If you have not double checked your contact information in Synergy recently, please do this as soon as possible. It is imperative that we have current contact information so that we can reach you in case of an emergency. ( HERE. Click on My Account, and update phone numbers).
We still have several students that are not sticking to their selected learning model and are bouncing back and forth between inperson learning and EDL. The expectation is that students attend in their selected learning model unless there is COVID related or other illness. Your help with supporting your child’s attendance in their selected learning model is appreciated!
We are in the planning stages to determine Ingleside’s testing schedule for the AzSCI and AzM2 state testing in late March and April. As soon as our schedule is determined, we will share it and post it on the Ingleside website. In the meantime, I would like for our EDL (and SOL) families to know that we are expected to test all students on campus with a school proctor.

IT'S TIME TO THINK ABOUT TAXES...AND TAX CREDITS!
One way you can always support your students and schools is through a tax credit contribution.
Arizona law allows taxpayers to receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit of up to $200 for individual filers and up to $400 for married filers.
Contributions made through April 15, 2021 can still be claimed on your 2020 state tax return or roll over to 2021.
Schools depend on tax credit contributions to fund programs and activities that the state and District cannot, such as:
college and career testing.
We encourage you to find out more about this win-win-win - for you, your students and their schools - on our website at https://www.susd.org/Support.
