Fordham - Marketing Area News & Information

As the 2020-21 academic year comes to an end, we hope for the end of the COVID-19 pandemic around the world in the near future. As educators and researchers, our primary responsibilities span across conducting research and providing high-quality education. In coordination with the Gabelli School of Business school leadership, staff, and Information Technology team, the marketing faculty delivered this critical mission very well.

I am thrilled that the marketing area faculty received a total of fifteen awards in research, teaching, services, and impact. In addition, Mrs. Aida Lahood, the Marketing Area Program Manager, received the Cura Personalis Award (“care of the whole person”). As COVID-19 moves towards dissipating in the US and the economy recovers, the Fordham community is ready for the world post-COVID-19.

We are also proud that the US News & World Report ranked our Graduate Marketing Specialty 14th and our undergraduate marketing program 20th nationwide. This reflects the dedication of my colleagues in the marketing area and the Gabelli School of Business.

As usual, please feel free to get in touch with me or any marketing area faculty if you have any ideas for collaboration or joint projects with our area. Please feel free to contact me at or any of our colleagues in the Marketing area.

Wishing everyone a well-deserved summer and look forward to a productive next academic year.

Best regards,

Mohammad G. Nejad
Area Chair, Marketing
Associate Professor of Marketing
