Mixed media incorporates painting, drawing, printing and collage. This 6-week workshop is for anyone wanting to explore their creative voice for the first time to those more experienced creatives who would like our inspirational guidance.

The Art Process Studio in Santa Barbara provides art workshops and retreats for individuals wanting to explore their creativity. Our mission is to support a mindful process oriented approach to making art so that anyone can feel the enormous benefits of creative expression. Our goal is to help YOU to uncover YOUR unique creative style through experimenting with various mixed media techniques, layering and compositional tools. Our emphasis is on freeing our inner critic by working mindfully and intuitively with the nurturing support of artist and creative coach, Kathy Leader.

Painting Classes for Watercolor and Acrylic

Individualized instruction in a class environment
Mondays and Tuesdays 9:30a - 12:30p, Starting February 7


Classes provide each student with individualized instruction and coaching in esthetics and techniques of watercolor and acrylic painting. Color theory and composition are taught through exercises and practical application to personal painting projects. Lessons on a range of topics are provided through slide presentations and demonstrations along with applicable worksheets. Open to all levels of experience.
