Dear <<First Name>>
I hope you are all well, keeping safe and looking out for each other in these very challenging times.  With the busy schedules we all have, and the difficulties in organising catch-ups with valued friends and colleagues, the Queensland RACS Younger Fellows Committee have helped organise a ball. You will have the opportunity to catch up with said friends and colleagues at a Moroccan-themed night while also supporting a worthwhile cause. The biennial Charity Ball will support the Global Health's “Pacific Islands Program.”  The program is committed to deploying teams of surgeons, to pacific island countries to conduct complex surgical procedures, and also to provide a range of clinical training opportunities to health staff in the region.  With keynote speeches from Professor Chris Pyke to speak about the RACS Council’s perspectives on global outreach and Associate Professor Bernard Whitfield speaking on his experiences going overseas and assisting in high need areas of the Pacific, it would be wonderful if you could join us to support a wonderful cause to help our colleagues across the pacific.
Kind regards
Dr Gian Capati
Queensland Younger Fellows Committee Chair
