Work Party - 1st November - 9.30-1.30

If you enjoy using the club facilities, or your family do, please remember to come next Sunday morning to lend a hand.  To keep the club facilities and surroundings spic and span, the house committee and the Work Group put in hundreds of hours a year, but twice a year we ask all members to turn out to carry out some of the routine and bigger maintenance tasks.   It really is your club and the work will benefit you or your family directly, so please come and join in.   It is sociable and fun, and there are tasks to suit all abilities from cleaning light fittings to more heavy duty stuff.

The House committee have carefully planned all tasks to be outside and socially distant this time.

Club Trophies

It's that time of year when we ask all trophy winners to return their trophies to the clubhouse all sparkly polished before 15th November.
We have not been able to run as many series this year but there are still trophies to be awarded in due course, so please return what you have so you can find out if you have won something new!
Our new trophies guru for this year has said they will absolutely not be polishing trophies, so please do your bit.

and talking of trophies that will be awarded this year..................................

Club Championships Day - Sunday 8th November

This is a day for everyone to join in - youth, adults, keen racers and novices as we have two separate trophies to compete for.

The Lawes Trophy is only for those sailors who have never won a Papercourt Club or Class trophy (excluding any novice trophy).  The races will have their own start, and means that you will not be competing against all the keen previous trophy winners who will race for the Champion of Champions cup.

Lets make it a grand finale to what has been the strangest Summer Season ever.

The following Sunday - 15th November sees the start of the Autumn Sunday Series - three GH races eevery Sunday right into December.
