They say time flies when you’re having fun… and hasn't’t 2015 just flown!

This year Axelent Automation & Safety celebrated five years of business. We welcomed Sales Engineer Drew Hoxey and Storeman Simon Dean to our team, both of them hit the ground running and it’s hard to remember what it was like before they were here! Drew has spent a LOT of time on planes this year [insert apology to his wife and son here], but it has been a huge benefit to our business catching up face to face with our customers more often for product updates, demo’s and to discuss upcoming projects. As for Simon, well any visitors to our warehouse in Beverley in the past few months will notice how immaculate and organised it is – Simon has taken it to the next level which has enabled us to improve our order turnaround time.

Two significant Axelent projects for the year deserve a special mention (images below). They both top our list of biggest completed projects we have worked on, ever. With extensive customisation required (some of it a first for Axelent globally), as well as ensuring we met all of the project milestones – from order placement through to customer service follow ups, the projects were a huge success and it is great to see our products out in the market doing such a good job.

Of course our business is not just about Axelent products. We have invested a lot of time and expertise to ensure we can offer complete solutions using products that are leaders in their respective fields. Belden, B&R, Hirschmann, Idem, Mean Well, Pacific Components, Pilz, Secomea and Treotham – all products we're proud to have as part of the Axelent Automation & Safety family.

Planning and preparation for another successful year in 2016 is well under way – we are working on a new website which will be launched in January. As well as bookings currently in progress for 2016 Expo’s, which are always such a good opportunity to show off our products.

Thank you for being part of another great year, and we wish you and your families a safe and happy Christmas.

Ty, Les, Drew, Simon, Sandy and Anna
