In the past 4 years, over $27,000 has been awarded to several grants in the music program including 9 instrument purchases. This past fall, CEF awarded over $7000 to the Band Boosters to purchase a new baritone saxophone and marimba. Another $2500 grant purchased a large tarp for the Winterguard to use in practices and competitions. A set of wooden performance rifles and holders was also funded by a $500 small grant. Since elective courses are often underfunded, CEF is committed to help ensure our students have access to more costly instruments and opportunities to express themselves through music education.
