Space Games Federation will be a part of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum’s Space & Science Festival on September 22-23, 2018 in New York, NY. The Festival offers exhibits from NASA, meet-and-greets with astronauts, stargazing, and Space Games Federation’s “Stellar Strike Challenge,” among other fun and educational activities and experiences.
Space Games Federation will bring their Stellar Strike Challenge to the Intrepid Museum’s event in hangar 2, where attendees will have a chance to test their skills in a Low Earth Orbit simulation using a Hover Ball™ to navigate obstacles and see how many points they can score.
“The Hover Ball floats on air, giving an example of how an object of play might act inzero-gravity, meaning the force used to move it is considerably less ...only a small part of what Sports in Space will change to level the playing field in Equal SpaceTM,” said Kristin Pitts, SGF’s STEAM+ Educational Advisor.
