Warm Welcome to OAK's Newest Members
The Girl Scouts of the USA and TYO (Transforming Youth Outdoors have joined OAK.

Girl Scouts' extensive 103 year history of serving girls has always included the outdoors as a pivotal part of the Girl Scout experience. Today's programming encourages environmental awareness and stewardship, as well as providing increased access to the outdoors for girls of all backgrounds

TYO is creating a movement to engage young people in transformative outdoor experiences by providing best practices, tools and support to individuals and organizations working towards getting youth outdoors.

In his budget request to Congress, President Barack Obama calls for connecting over a million urban youth to national public lands every year.
Learn More About the 21st Century Conservation Service Corps
The Partnership for the 21CSC is meeting on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, from 2:30-4:30pm in Washington, DC. We're expecting announcements from the White House, Congress, key federal agencies and the private sector. Then, participants will engage in sessions on key 21CSC topics around funding, agency opportunities, Corpsmember support, and outreach. Click here to register. NOTE: no need to register if you're already participating in The Corps Network's annual conference.
