Dear OAK Family,
I am excited to announce the formation of a new Advisory Council for the Outdoors Alliance for Kids. The members of OAK’s Advisory Council are leaders and experts working to advance the wellbeing of children, youth, and families. Advisors span sectors and lived experiences and provide critical insight and perspective on OAK’s activities. Advisors have a demonstrated commitment to justice, equity, and inclusion and share OAK’s commitment to addressing systemic racism. Members are selected for their ability to contribute broad vision, guidance, and unique perspective to OAK staff, steering committee, and member organizations. They come from the nonprofit, philanthropy, business, government sectors, or are individual movement leaders, including youth leaders.
I am so pleased to introduce you to OAK's first cohort of Advisory Council members. Please join me in welcoming OAK's advisors on Facebook and Twitter.
Cheyenne Brady, Center for Native American Youth
