CCCN City Assistance Opportunity
The Cities Connecting Children to Nature partnership of National League of Cities and Children & Nature Network just released a CCCN Early Childhood Nature Connection: City Assistance Opportunity. Cities in partnership with local early childhood providers and organizations may apply to for assistance in bringing nature’s benefits to young children, ages 0-5. Selected cities will receive 18 months of technical assistance. Applications are due March 18, 2022 with an info session to be held on February 14, 2022, 2-3:30 PM ET; register here.

NRPA has developed an Equity Language Guide, a glossary of terms to help park and recreation professionals develop a common language around diversity, equity and inclusion. It also provides guidance to help people become familiar with terms they may not be aware of and best practices for making writing accessible.
