Identifying child victims of trafficking in the context of the current migration flows

Tomorrow, February 2nd, at 3pm CET, Child Hub together with Europol organises a free webinar on how to identify child victims of trafficking in the context of the current migration flow.

This weekend a lot of attention has been drawn to Europol announcing that at least 10.000 unaccompanied child refugees had disappeared after arriving in Europe. Europol warns of children and young people being forced into sexual exploitation and slavery by criminal gangs.

Join us tomorrow for a talk with the Head of the Office of Europol:

  • to learn key facts and trends in human trafficking in the EU;
  • to discuss the threat of child trafficking especially in light of the current migration flows into the EU;
  • to find out how to identify potential trafficking victims, especially among children;
  • to ask questions to Europol representatives about their work and human trafficking.

The webinar will feature two members of the Europol team: Brian Donald, Head of the Office of the Director, and Elena-Loredana Dobleaga, Lead Analyst and member of the team fighting trafficking in human beings.
