Today is OUR Day, Celebrate Accordingly!

Greetings OHSPRA Members!

After spending the last few weeks tirelessly crafting social media posts, writing press releases, and creating celebrations for our teachers, school nurses, bus drivers, and more, today is OUR DAY!

Last July, the Executive Board of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) unanimously voted to officially recognize School Communicators Day on the second Friday in May beginning in 2022.

After a tumultuous few years in school communications, my wish for each of you is that you take time today to be recognized. Your seat at the table is integral to our school systems and you deserve to shine a light on your amazing work!

As the school year comes to a close, so does my time as OHSPRA President, it has been my honor to serve you and I am confident in the future of our chapter under the leadership of President-Elect, Alicia Mowry.

Wishing you a great School Communicators Day and a wonderful Spring and Summer!
