RDRP Volunteers & Houndies are GREYT!

I have had the most enriching and rewarding time of my life as a volunteer with RDRP!  I can not begin to tell you how the people and the houndies changed my life and brought immeasurable meaning. My only regret is that I did not start ages and ages ago... more time would have been perfect!

I have adopted 3 greyhounds from this terrific group (Indra, Poppy & Lilly) and I can tell you that there is nothing like the love and companionship of a greyhound. I can't even imagine a life without greyhounds and volunteering gave me the opportunity to love oodles... a true dream come true! Greyhounds are GREYT!

On September 11th I was given a beautiful party and loving send-off to my new home in Wisconsin! I was so surprised! As the RDRP Team Greyhound always does they went above and beyond to make the day very special complete with VEGAN cake and ice cream! Writing this is bringing tears to my eyes. Please consider becoming a volunteer and or foster parent. Support this GREYT mission in any way you can as it offers an exceptional way to  help the beloved greyhound and bond with people that are like no others.

I will continue to maintain the website, newsletter and social media stuff so keep the photos, articles, video's and news coming! I am so grateful to get to do this! I am already anxiously longing for a trip back to Florida so I can be with the houndies and the exceptional people at RDRP! I love each & every one of you!

Love,
Lori, Mark, Poppy & Lilly

Please Foster us so we have a better chance at finding our furever homes quicker! Oh what a life. Can you imagine not knowing what happens next? Wondering if there is more? The life of a greyhound waiting for his or her forever home is often long, lonely & uncertain. People come and go… and the beautiful grey waits.  Contact Geri, call her cell (685-4509) or email her at idlerichh@aol.com

Some greyhounds are selected and adopted fairly quickly and some may wait for many many months or seasons at no fault of there own.
