Bag Your Birds in the Black Belt

There’s nothing better to get the blood pumping than an early morning explosion of bobwhite coveys rising in the sun or the chorus of black beards on the roost as they begin their day in search of the ladies. Our much cooler days are now the perfect time to enjoy a mule-drawn wagon, horseback or jeep-styled quail hunt with friends and family or for taking a youngster or first-timer on a hunt for that elusive gobbler.  If you think about it. . . isn’t it all about the camaraderie, watching the dogs do what they love best or passing along the skill of patience with the end goal in sight while creating memories that will last a lifetime?

More than 50 outfitters in Alabama’s Black Belt can provide that experience and our well managed public lands are exceptional hunting grounds.  Check it out (here) and book your next adventure!
