LIFE FINDS A WAY
"None of your knowledge, your reading, your connections will be of any use here: two legs suffice, and big eyes to see with. Walk alone, across mountains or through forests. You are nobody to the hills or the thick boughs heavy with greenery." - Frédéric Gros
We are all finding things difficult, whether it's being stuck at home, missing normaility, being made redundant, or losing loved ones. I'd like to thank my wife for her work with the NHS and not being too hard on me when she comes home and finds our children are still not fully-dressed or eating too much chocolate. Looking after one I can manage, but two boys under 7 is a little bit of a challenge.
So thank you to my wife, and thank you to all the other wife's and partners, friends and loved one's continuing to work in frontline real jobs whilst us dreamers can think, ideate or create new solutions for a better future. Or in my case, just keeping my children happy, fed and sometimes clothed.
What has this section got to do with biomimicry? Absolutely nothing.
