New USPS letter mail rates, effective 26 April, 2015:

Letters (1 oz) - $0.49
Letters (additional ounce) - $0.22
Letters - international - $1.20
Postcards - $0.35

New stamp issues of note:

Martin Ramirez forever stamps (very interesting bio of Martin in issue number 72 of "STAMPS", a USPS publication)
  • First day of issue: 26 March 2015
  • Panes of 20 stamps (5 designs)
From me to you forever stamps
  • First day of issue: 1 April 2015
  • Panes of 20 stamps (1 design)

Country for Mailing- Uzbekistan

The following excerpt was taken from the USPS "Postal Explorer."  It dictates the USPS rules for mailing to the former Russian Republic of Uzbekistan.

In light of these guidelines, it might be advisable not to include currency in mailing letter mail to Uzbekistan.

Part 2:

Use of currently available stamp mounting strips and singles to display both Mint "NH" as well as postally used "NH" stamps from panes of stamps currently available from the USPS store "USA Philatelic"

Example 1

In example 1, mint "NH" and postally used "NH" stamps are shown mounted in Scott's #934B (117 mm strip)
Stamps mounted are as follows:
  • BATMAN - USPS ref. 588404.  One design of eight.  Forever first class rate.
  • GLOBAL FOREVER - USPS ref. 578800.  International rate (1 oz.)
  • GLOBAL WREATH - USPS ref. 587044.  International rate (1 oz.)
Example 2:

Postally used "NH" stamps are shown in the second Scott's mount.  Stamps are as follows:
  • MARTIN RAMIREZ - USPS ref. 472704.  All five designs on the pane of 20 stamps.  Forever first class rate.
  • FROM ME TO YOU - USPS ref. 473040. One design for all stamps on a pane. Forever first class rate.
Example 3

Mint "NH" examples of the RAMIREZ and the FROM ME TO YOU issues.

Grading of these stamps is left to the experts.
