Dear Hope Giver,
I love this time of year! Spring has sprung and flowers are blooming. Everything is growing and turning green. It is a time of refreshing and new starts. Because of your partnership with Trafficking Hope we are growing! We have been able to provide MORE awareness and education thru our CARES initiative in the southeast by expanding our efforts into Texas and Alabama. We have been able to help precious girls have a fresh, new start to their lives. We are helping them rebuild and celebrate their new found FREEDOM while discovering their God given gifts, talents and abilities.
A young man is quoted in the movie, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel as saying..."In India, we have a saying everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, then it's not the end." I had never heard that before, but it is a quote worth remembering, especially for those of us facing a daunting obstacle like the everyday sale of human beings. It is time to recharge and grow because it is not yet the end.
There are still too many people who are vulnerable to exploitation and we aim to reach as many of them as we can. Part of that effort will be to reach men and make them aware of what they can do. Trafficking Hope is excited to announce the launch of our Gentleman’s Club, a place where men can go to learn more about being a part of ending the demand, educating their children and redeeming what it really means to be a gentleman. Don't lose heart as you go about your day. Every contribution to fight human trafficking is invaluable no matter how small. Giving of your time, talent and treasure takes us one step closer to truly ending it.
Let’s end this together!
