Dear Hope Givers,
We have so much happening this summer at Trafficking Hope. Human Trafficking does not take the summer off, so here at Trafficking Hope we are busy as ever! We continue fighting human trafficking every day thru our CARES initiative.
This summer we were honored to partner with the amazing people of Church of the Highlands and Association of Related Churches (ARC) for Serve Day 15. Human Trafficking Awareness SERVE Day projects were present throughout the community distributing wristbands that said "#itsNOTokay" / "traffickinghope.org" and fact sheets with information about human trafficking in an effort to raise awareness about this injustice and the reality of 27 million people trapped in slavery both in the state of Alabama and around the world. 7 campuses hosted awareness groups covering 19 project/outreach venues with over 140 people serving on these teams distributing over 4,000 wristbands throughout the state of Alabama to gas stations, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, strip malls, parks, baseball tournaments, farmer's markets, restaurants, retail stores, Girl's Ranch and Hosanna Home.
We have been able to be a part of awareness events like Project Arise Youth Event, The Family Church Women's Conference and EBR Parish School System's 2nd Annual i-Care Prevention Summit while continuing to train groups of ER staff at OLOL Livingston and CASA volunteer advocates.
We could not do this without you. We are so grateful for your support! If you have not partnered with us, please consider doing so. Click here to give. It is going to take ALL of us to bring an end to this horrific crime of human trafficking!
