Come Holy Spirit!

Hey teens (and parents)!  

Confirmation is a big step, as you'll be saying to God and to the Church that you're in it for the long haul-- that you're committed to living out your Catholic faith in your daily life from here to heaven.  As such, I hope that you take some time to pray about whether you are ready for the sacrament or not.  If you're uncertain about your faith, the confirmation process will certainly help you to work through your doubts or questions, and will help you to build your relationship with God... But in the end, if you aren't sure that you can commit to living a life of faith in the Church, you are welcome to wait until next year or another year to be confirmed.  This is a big deal.  So please, instead of committing to the faith blindly, look at this as an opportunity to ask questions, and seek understanding of the Church you belong to.

Confirmation Letter and Handouts

I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the Day Confirmation Retreat, as it falls on the same day as a choir or band event.  If possible, I'd like to choose a Saturday in January that works for everyone, instead of trying to run the retreat twice (which would be difficult for arranging our food and music, etc.).  Please let me know which of the weekends would work for you in this poll by the end of next week: Confirmation Day Retreat Scheduler.  If we cannot find a date that works for everyone, there will be makeup work for those who cannot attend, or you will have the option of waiting until next year to be confirmed.
