Mr Harrison's blog
We have raced to half-term in what feels like the blink of an eye and yet the break will, conversely, be much deserved by all due to the effort and energy that is exerted each day in achieving so much. Already memories of the year are being made: trips to Hampton Court, Bignor Roman villa and Garson farm, the visit of the Happy Puzzle Company, matches, the wonderful Poetry competition and nerve-jingling Final, art workshop .. the list could go on and the children will have their own to cherish.

Happy Puzzle visit |
The Reception classes recently enjoyed a visit from The Happy Puzzle Company. It was an excellent opportunity for children to work in small groups as they welcomed and conquered each new challenge! Pupils thought about how they would approach a task and reviewed their strategies, adapting a new plan when it was necessary. Teamwork does not come without challenges for any age but Reception displayed patience and perseverance and worked together to solve problems. |

Children across the school have been busy learning about harvest and preparing songs and readings to present to their parents.
Reception have been pumpkin picking at Garson Farm and Kindergarten have been learning about the work of the farmer at this important time of year. Their gifts of fruit and vegetables will be sent to the kitchens at the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher. KS1 are collecting items for patients who attend the day hospice at Princess Alice.
