"Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference"
Kathy Calvin

Asalamualaikum ,

BBCGH has been very busy with all the projects and new challenges. The hospital has been focusing more on educating the younger generation and to help create awareness amongst our young communities. We have been receiving support from schools based in the UK and Bangladesh. We are very proud to become ambassadors for them and work with them on current and upcoming projects.

Eastlea Community School have been our number one supporter and they are continually working with their students to raise more funds for the hospital and teach their students the importance of helping charities. The school have organised many events such as world book day and a maths challenge. This is just the beginning of our relationship blooming and we will repeatedly work together for upcoming events and BBCGH will encourage and provide full support with the schemes. Not only are the school involving the pupils and teachers, the school are also facilitating to inspire parents and the local community. Eastlea Community School pupils are an inspiration and a breath of fresh air and they are the types of examples we like to set for our hospital.

Our CEO has been going back and forth to hold meetings and bringing forward new ventures to the hospital. BBCGH team have been sharing their sustenance and ideas when meetings are taking place. Important figure heads have shown a keen interest in our hospital and what we are about. We feel obliged to have the opportunity to discuss the progression of our hospital and move further into what we have been craving to develop.

Touching on last months Fundraising Dinner and 4th Annual Awards Ceremony on the 21st March 2017, we are constantly receiving calls of interest and donations are flying in. The event proved to be a success and we cannot thank our donors, sponsors and our special guests enough for making it all a reality. We have received a lot of positive feedback and media coverage from the one event and plan to come back bigger and better next year.

If you would like to make a donation please do not hesitate to call our donation line on 0207 096 0893 and one of our colleagues can provide all the different payment options we have available.

We also have volunteering opportunities here in the UK office and in Bangladesh. If volunteering is some thing you would like to get involved in please email us with your contact information and the area you may like to provide help in.
