Sussana Battin Key Observation Point at Los Angeles Contemporary Archive This exhibition originates in Battin's interest in the "Landscape Scenic Quality Scale", a metric pioneered by a group of architects and  who sought to quantify beauty as a means of environmental protection.

Sade Cafe at SADE Hosted by the DJ-duo behind LA based clothing label No Sesso, this night will feature a live dance performance by Austyn Rich, a poetry reading by Ciarra Walters and an encore presentation of the short film by Rhea Dilon (in colaboration with No Sesso) 'Black Angel'.

Bunny Rogers Innatention at Marciano Art Foundation This exhibition highlights two of Rogers' video works. Both animated videos are demonstrative of how media has shaped the artist's identity as an obsessive consumer and self-proclaimed internet addict since childhood.

Hugo Montoya Artificial Imtelligence at Big Pictures Los Angeles Montoya uses modes of relating (emotional, phenomenological, sensual) as strategies for creating objects that make for strange mirrors into the ways we relate to one another and to one another's bodies.
(Arlington Heights, Saturday 6:00pm) 
William Lamson Badwater at Make Room Inspired by the saltwater spring in Death Valley's Badwater Basin and the resilient ecosystems around it, Lamson's piece is a generative work that brings these quiet geological forces into the gallery, allowing them to develop over the duration of the show.

Challenger Deep at Garden This exhibition presents works by Paulo Carlo Esposito, Delia Juürgens, Sarah McMenimen and Charise Pearlina Weston that acts as a metaphor for our shifting status on the surface as we reckon with out geological influence and imagine ecological futures.

Julie Weitz Net Sirens (or How My Golem was Reborn in a Pool in Encino) at Public Pool A video installation in which Weitz will present her signature light-bases atmospheric environments.
