You've likely noticed that our weekly research commentary has been, well, less than weekly as of late. That's really been for two reasons.
First, we spent the month of July publishing Season 3 of our podcast Flirting with Models. We were extremely fortunate to get some amazing guests this season and feedback has been tremendously positive.
But we've also been very deep in the weeds of a research project that's taken us a bit further afield than our usual quant notes. Spurred by questions of, "have markets changed?", we have been diving deep into theories on experimental monetary policy, unintended consequences of regulatory pressures, the rise of passive and indexed investing, and asymmetric liquidity pressures.
This project is ongoing and we're not ready to publish our findings just yet.
However, we've been sharing selectively to solicit constructive feedback and we're hoping to gather more. If you're interested in these topics and are willing to give us your thoughts, we'd love to share.
