You Can Make a Big Difference in Olympia!

You can make a difference this legislative session for hundreds of low-income families in Washington. Join the Equal Justice Coalition in Olympia on February 16th to advocate for civil legal aid funding.

Legal aid keeps people housed, employed, and safe.
Raise your voice and help break cycles of poverty for thousands across our state.

Coming from outside King County? We can help you coordinate carpools and transportation if you live outside King County. To learn more about the event, check out the registration link below. This is going to be a tough year and your voice will make a big impact.

We Love Our Donors

"We love supporting legal aid because it’s a chance to give back and help our community thrive. Lane Powell values innovation, sustainability, diversity, and optimism. As a law firm, we take pride in supporting legal aid because legal assistance and information should be available to all people, regardless of their ability to pay."

-- Charles W. Riley, Jr., President, Lane Powell

Thank you, Lane Powell, for donating to the Campaign for Equal Justice
and for increasing access to justice for families in need.

Your Gifts at Work:
Fighting for Veterans

Jeff, a veteran suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, was in danger of losing his apartment.  When his landlord, represented by an attorney, falsely claimed he had failed to pay rent for several months, Jeff knew he needed help.

You helped Jeff by donating to the Campaign for Equal Justice, which funds a Pro Bono Lawyer Program near Jeff in Walla Walla, WA. Although Jeff's legal aid attorney wasn't able to prevent Jeff’s eviction, the attorney made sure the $5,000 judgment against Jeff was dropped and he fought to make sure Jeff could stay in his home another month so he could find a new home.

Supporters like you helped Jeff avoid homelessness and a huge financial burden. Jeff is one of the 30,000 families you helped last year -- thank you!
