Manager in fatal scaffolding collapse sentenced to 3½ years!
Construction project manager, Vadim Kazenelson has been sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison for his role in a scaffolding collapse at a Toronto apartment building that left four workers dead on Christmas Eve 2009. Judge Ian MacDonnell said he needed to impose a "significant term" on Kazenelson to make it clear to others that they have a "serious obligation" to ensure the safety of workers. Read More
