Prevent Falls in Construction

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?
OSHA'S 3RD ANNUAL NATIONAL SAFETY STAND-DOWN
May 2-6, 2016

Falls in the construction industry remain the leading cause of industry deaths. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (Feb 2016) in 2014 there were 874 worker fatalities, or 1 in 5 workers. Of these, 349 were from falls at height. In its third year, OSHA will once again be dedicating another week-long campaign to their continued efforts of bringing awareness to fall prevention in construction. Employers are highly encouraged to take the time to participate by using the workday to educate and remind their employees on the risks of working at height. Click here to learn more about how you can do your part.

SEEING GREEN
Take a look around our training floor and you'll notice touches of green here and there. That color serves an important function for us: engineered anchors. We've recently added even more green to our space to provide additional functionality to our training floor. Whether practicing rope access skills, or training or performing rescues on a swing stage, these engineered anchors now provide for a safer and more secure way to perform all these things.
