Wi-Fi For Beginners Podcast Newsletter

January 2017

Hello...Testing....Is This Thing On?
I know, I know...it's been a while since I got anything out to you guys. Apologies. Things have been busy on both the career and family fronts, so getting to do my podcasting "sideline" has been a little tricky.

The good news is that I should have some white-space on the horizon and am hoping to get out some further episodes out in the near future. Episode 21 of the podcast has been recorded and is due for imminent release.

Wi-Fi Training In London With WifiNigel

"School of Cucumber"

On Wednesday 1st March, WiFi Nigel (that's me) and Cucumber WiFi are bringing you a fantastic, intensive one-day WiFi training course. We'll be taking a vendor neutral approach to boost your WiFi knowledge so that you can build, optimize and troubleshoot a more successful wireless network. The knowledge you'll gain will truly help you realize the full potential of the investment you've made in your valuable WiFi network.

We'll be covering many of the concepts covered in the WFFB podcast and we'll be providing kit so that you can look at some of the concepts from a practical, real-world perspective. It promises to be a great, fun event to learn lots about WiFi technology.

New Blog Articles
I've started posting a series of short blog articles about the basics of Wi-Fi technology on the Wi-Fi For Beginners web site and on Medium.com. I'm trying to keep them to small chunks of information that you can read in a couple of minutes or so during your busy day.

They focus on some of the most commonly misunderstood Wi-Fi technology facets. In the first 5 articles I've taken a look at: I'll be posting more articles over the coming weeks on both Medium.com & on the WFFB web sites.
