Just in time for the next chapter in the Evil Dead saga (TV series Ash Vs. Evil Dead), Mondo is proud to release the soundtrack Sam Raimi's Army Of Darkness

Returning alongside star Bruce Campbell is masterful composer Joe LoDuca, who also crafted the terrifying scores to the first and second Evil Dead. Like the film, LoDuca's score to Army Of Darkness is an ambitious blending of genre that was ahead of its time. Part swashbuckling adventure, part horror, part comedy, Army Of Darkness saw LoDuca reaching new heights with his composing - which would later become his forte - as he bounced back and forth between composing horror films and adventure televisions series such as Hercules and Spartacus
The New Barbarians - Original Score by Claudio Simonetti. Artwork by Wes Bencher. Featuring sleeve notes by Composer Claudio Simonetti, and Interview by the director Enzo G. Castellari. Pressed on Sand & Cream color-in-color Vinyl, with Grey, Black and Red splatters (Limited to 500 Copies Worldwide). On sale Wednesday (10/28). $30
We're excited to finally release Claudio Simoetti’s synthtastic score to exploitation classic The New Barbarians. This ultra low-budget Italian Mad Max rip-off is hilarious and cringeworthy all in one go, and Simonetti’s score is an incredible slice of cheesy 80s action sure to put a smile on even the most jaded soundtrack fan.

With original artwork by Wes Benscoter, this incredible gatefold package is limited to 500 copies worldwide. Pressed on Sand & Cream color-in-color Vinyl, with Grey, Black and Red splatters.
DISTRIBUTED TITLES
Slasher Film Festival Strategy / Antoni Maiovvi split 12" - Released by Foreign Sounds. Pressed on Red Vinyl or Clear Vinyl.
On sale Wednesday (10/28). $19
As the only place outside of the label you can pick this release up in the USA, we are proud to be carrying the Slasher Film Festival Strategy / Antoni Maiovvi Split. SFFS delivers a pounding synth workout that would not be out of place in any number of 80s inspired films and Antoni Maiovvi turns in an absolutely fantastic deep cosmic disco banger. This very limited release on Foreign Sounds is an essential purchase with only 491 being produced worldwide. We have the standard red vinyl (only 221 produced) as well as an exclusive clear colorway (only 170 being produced), so be quick - these won’t last long! This is a great precursor to the forthcoming Slasher Film LP due on Death Waltz Originals before the end of 2015.
JURASSIC PARK OST
Orders BEGIN SHIPPING THIS WEEK. Apologies for the continued delay!

Order the first vinyl pressing of the soundtrack to this year's biggest blockbuster - Jurassic World - composed by the incredibly talented and prolific Michael Giacchino. Deftly balancing the playful heart, warm nostalgia and action packed elements of this film, the soundtrack to Jurassic World crafts unique earworm melodies that stand triumphantly in the canon of this franchise's massive musical legacy.

BACK TO THE FUTURE Part 1, Part 2 & Part 3 (Pre-Order)
Featuring original artwork by Matt Taylor, this timeless (pardon the pun) sci-fi trilogy of soundtracks by Alan Silvestri are available on vinyl... some for the first time ever, some for the first time in 25 years, and some featuring content that has never been heard until now. Don't be a butthead, pick these up!

SPENCER'S PICK OF THE WEEK - Army of Darkness
With Ash Vs Evil Dead about to premiere this week and Halloween only 5 days away, what better way to celebrate than with the classic score of Evil Dead III by Jo DeLuca. Playful, scary and a whole heap of fun - nothing screams Halloween more than this!

MO'S PICK OF THE WEEK
I've been really enjoying the podcast VGMpire, a podcast dedicated to carefully dissecting the origins, impact and legacy of some of the best music video games have to offer. They are currently in the midst of their Rocktober celebration of all of the original Mega Man titles. Mega Man has some of the best music in video games in my opinion so it's a ton of fun to hear people going into such great detail to the origins of these tracks I grew up listening to. Effectively, if you grew up playing video games, you've heard some VGM more often than the top 40 hits of your time on the radio. Think about that!
