FIT and Yellowbrick Launch Gaming and Esports Online Education Program
FIT, in collaboration with Yellowbrick, has launched Gaming and Esports Industry Essentials, designed to help the nontraditional student explore the expansive and lucrative world of gaming and esports. The program will help prepare game fans, players, and aspiring designers for the gaming industry, which is expected to generate $196 billion in revenue by the year 2022. Read more
Three FIT Students Awarded Gucci Changemaker Scholarships
collage of the Gucci Changemakers Scholarship winnersGucci America has announced its 2020 class of Gucci North America Changemakers Scholarship recipients, and of the 20 students selected, three are FIT students: Trevon Barnes, who plans to start his bachelor’s degree in Fashion Business Management this fall; Kristian Brown, a fourth-semester student in the Advertising and Marketing Communications AAS program; and Gabrielle DeLeon, a Fashion Design student specializing in Special Occasion. Each student will receive up to $20,000, in addition to mentorship and virtual internship opportunities. Read more
