Money, money, money,  money.... MONEY!

You wanna do things
do things
do things
good things with it!

Now that I have you singing with a nifty little ditty in your head, it's time to start grooving and moving to take action on the DEQ  Materials Management grants. The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality’s Materials Management program is resuming its grant program to fund projects that prevent, recover or reuse solid and household hazardous wastes. Up to $500,000 for this 2015 grant round is available.

And here's where you come in: local governments may receive grants to conduct their own projects, or they may partner with other public or private entities or individuals.

Does this sound enticing? Then join us at ONE of the mandatory meetings:
  • Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 12:00 p.m. or
  • Thursday, Oct. 8 at 6:00 p.m.

The meetings will take place at the Marion County Public Works Department, 5155 Silverton Rd NE, Salem, OR 97305. Grant requests for $5,000 and more will be considered for partnership.

Applications are due: Nov. 2, 2015. So prioritize what good things you can do with it, and view the applications today
