MISSION STATEMENT — The Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce Nevada (GLCCNV) advances the prosperity, equality and inclusivity of Nevada's gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and allied business community through referrals, education, networking, advocacy and supplier diversity opportunities.

LETTER FROM GLCCNV MEMBER
JEREMY WALLACE

As a new member of the Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce of Las Vegas, I have to admit that I wasn’t sure how much I would benefit from my membership. I also wasn’t eager to turn in my application for membership and certification with the National Chamber because I have joined other chambers in the past, with not much to show for the investment. But this time my expectations were blown away and completely exceeded.

At the local level, I have made amazing connections for my business through the luncheons and online member directory. Connections I wouldn't have made on my own without being a Chamber member. And becoming a Nationally Certified LGBT business has now become a no-brainer. I had a unique opportunity to visit the NGLCC offices in Washington, DC last month and met with Brent Stewart, the Manager of Supplier Diversity. He and the entire staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome and answer all of my questions. Not only that, right there on the spot, he reached out to another NGLCC member and made an introduction for me. Within a couple of days, I booked one of the largest and best speaking engagements of my career so far. Without a doubt, none of this would have happened if weren't for the GLCCNV and NGLCC.

The best part is that NGLCC membership/certification is absolutely free to current GLCCNV members. I realized that taking just a little bit of time to complete the application process, I have now opened up my business on a national level. Thank you GLCCNV!
