Leiandra Gaskill

Community Relations Manager,
Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority

Leiandra Gaskill is the community relations manager for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). The LVCVA is the destination marketing organization for the Las Vegas and Southern Nevada and its mission centers on creating the world’s most desirable destination for leisure and business travel.  The LVCVA also owns and operates the Las Vegas Convention Center and Cashman Center.
As the community relations manager, Gaskill is responsible for the leadership and direction of the Las Vegas Host Committee and other community outreach advocating the benefits of the organization and tourism industry. Her main responsibility is to engage the Las Vegas Community in support of major trade shows and destination special events, and help with “rolling out the red carpet” for Las Vegas visitors.
Gaskill joined the LVCVA in June 2014, as the business marketing specialist for the Las Vegas Host Committee.  She was promoted to community relations manager in July 2015. Prior to joining the LVCA, Leiandra previously held sales and operations management positions in the destination management/receptive tour operator industry for AlliedTPro Las Vegas, Kuoni Las Vegas (Previously PGI) and AlliedPRA Las Vegas.
After serving five years as an administrative support specialist in the U.S. Air Force during the Gulf War, Leiandra started her now 25-year career in the hospitality industry at Marriott’s Rancho Las Resort in Rancho Mirage, CA. and is a 18-year resident of Las Vegas.

It'll be here before you know it!

Feel free to e-mail us at if you have questions or would like additional information on business opportunities with MGM Resorts. Please indicate your commodity or service area. Should you need more information about becoming LGBT-certified please contact the Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce Nevada at

By becoming a certified LGBT Business Enterprise (LGBTBE) through the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), businesses are able to build relationships with America’s leading corporations, generate prospective business and clients, and collectively team with each other for contracting opportunities.

As corporate America becomes more inclusive and further diversifies its supply chain, certification offers the opportunity for LGBT-owned businesses to differentiate themselves from their competitors. Additionally, LGBTBEs can participate in NGLCC’s continuing educational opportunities including teleconferences, webinars, and in-person seminars on business development topics.

Visit GLCCNV.ORG for further details and a link to the application.

NOTE: The $400 NGLCC certification fee will be waived
