We're Celebrating Art in Devonport!

Devonport is an arts destination and this month there'll be no hiding it! A participating precinct in Artweek Auckland, we're hosting one of the hottest and most highly anticipated Artweek events GLOW@Artweek on Windsor Reserve 12 & 13 October. This year the light pavilions designed and built by Unitec's School of Architecture students will be totally powered by renewable energy, thanks to the support of VECTOR

To get the party started in good style, we're throwing our annual street party Friday after Five. On Friday 12 October we're closing Clarence street, rolling in the food trucks, live music, art activations, and family entertainment

These events are proudly supported by the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board, Auckland Transport, Vector and the Devonport Business Association.
Friday after Five_GLOW - Friday 12 October, 5-9pm, Clarence Street

Devonport's annual street party is back, launching GLOW@Artweek in good style. With live music, a dance floor, picnic area, glow-in-the-dark box city, entertainers, street games and food trucks, you'd be sorry to miss this one . Grab your mates, bring your jackets, come to our awesome annual knees-up.

Janet Mazenier & Lee Kleiman @ The Flagstaff Gallery

Flagstaff Gallery is opening a new exhibit of Janet Mazenier and Lee Kleiman's works. Janet and Lee’s mixed media pieces using cold wax are very different but are powerfully connected by a shared vision. Their process is similar but their individual expression is unique. Janet’s work is a powerful layered expression of her inner dialogue, Lee’s is all about her peaceful inner nature; both styles are full of lines and marks that connect and tell their stories.
Follow Devonport's Residential Art Trail

Devonport, whilst known primarily for its heritage buildings and Victorian-era charm, is also home to a gritty urban corridor lined with murals. Get the kids, grab your bikes, scooters or segways and check out the 22 murals on our residential art trail. Download the map here.
