Going with the Elements in Devonport

Elemental AKL is a new region-wide festival illuminating Tāmaki Makaurau this winter. Drawing on the elements of air, fire, earth, and water, Auckland's eateries and bars, theatres, parks and public spaces will be transformed - and Devonport is in on the action. Sitting right on the Waitematā harbour, we know the elements well and a night out in our magically-lit heritage village is one of the best ways to combat the winter blues.

This July we're activating the Ferry Terminal like never before in one night of fashion. We've got 10 rounds of The Travelling Fare - our sell-out progressive dining event that sees you literally walking from restaurant to restaurant with 35 other diners in our most unique food event of the year. And we've also got The Matariki Dish - Seven days of carefully curated Aotearoa-inspired dishes at nine of Devonport's eateries.

Devonport is a village to explore and even when the sea-breeze nips at your heels, the cloak of night covers you, and the rain pours down - this is the place you will want to be.

The Travelling Fare

Every Tuesday in July at 6pm or 7.30pm - only 36 Tickets per round. This event is for the true food devotee!

Why eat at one restaurant when you can go to four? Travel down Devonport's dining corridor in this uniquely crafted and joyful culinary experience. Four restaurants. Four sublime dishes. Four matching wines. Using native flavours and locally sourced ingredients, prepare your tastebuds as our restaurants go all out.

For ticket holders your night will begin at Devon on the Wharf, before you head up Victoria Road to Vondel, then on to Vic Road Kitchen, before finishing up with something sweet at Hemingways.
