Kia ora,
Well...we made it! Grateful to see the return of blue skies and the warmth of the sun, sand and seas, which always comes with a renewed sense of energy, here in Devonport we're excited to be hosting visitors from around Auckland and New Zealand!

Our Friday After Five street festival is lined up for the 4th of December with incredible entertainment, family friendly games, activities and performances and an eclectic offering of food vendors sure to tantalize any palette! Two days later, the 16th annual Devonport Santa Parade and Christmas Carnival on Windsor Reserve; a must see on your weekend list!
Friday after Five on Clarence Street: 4th December - 5-10pm
Live music, street entertainment, food vendors...OH MY!

An amazing evening of fun, food and festivities for all ages, you don't want to miss out on Friday After Five! Here are a few helpful hints to have the best time and stay safe:
  • Avoid the headache of parking - Bike or scooter down, park it safe and sound at our COMPLIMENTARY Auckland Transport Bike Valet Parking!
  • Bring CASH - a number of our food vendors will accept cash - be prepared, we'd hate for you to miss out on your favourite foods! (pssttt...there is an ASB cash machine just around the corner)
  •  QR Code Posters - these will be displayed at various places around the site. Let's all do our part - please scan in when you arrive onsite.
We will see you this Friday as we kickoff off our Devonport's 2020 summer celebrations!!
Check out Friday After Five!

Devonport Visitor Information Centre gets a Beautiful New Name!

The Devonport Visitor Information Centre Caravan is officially OPEN and it has a cute new name! Special thanks to Dawn Pearce, Frank Galvin, Kerry Stroobant and @Phillipa6a (on IG), a combination of their suggestions came together to give us..."MOANA BELLE"

A huge thank you to everyone who submitted a name entry and again to our winners - we received so many amazing suggestions. If you have yet to see our cute little caravan, make sure to stop in for a visit, say hello to our fantastic volunteers at the Devonport Ferry Terminal.

Thank you to our supporters/sponsors, Lottery Grant Fund NZ, Rotary Club of Devonport, Auckland Transport and Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED).

And of course you can never go wrong with stocking stuffers from Devonport Chocolates.

Between shopping and trips to one of our many picturesque beaches, there is plenty of summer programming at the Library and Community House for children and adults alike.

And naturally, we have to talk about those famous “yacht races” that we've all been waiting for with anticipation. With prime and picturesque viewing points right across Devonport, you can see these high speed yachts, practicing and racing, from many of our beaches and from the peaks of Maungauika/North Head or Takarunga/Mt.
