EFRJ Summer School
 
The draft programme as well as the biographies of the trainers of the EFRJ Summer School 2017 on RJ in cases of serious crimes (Como, 24-28 July) are online! We already received registrations from Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Norway, Finland, UK, Switzerland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Germany... Register now: limited seats are available!
 
Open day on victims of human trafficking
Open Day on the Psychological Impact of Trafficking in Human Beings on Victims (Barcelona 4 April):  this event is organized as part of a European research project 'Psychological Health Impact of THB for sexual exploitation on female victims (PHIT)'.       
 
Forum on conflict and cooperation

About 700 young people will gather together in the Austrian Alps for 17 days (16 August- 1 September) for the Forum on 'Conflict and Cooperation'. The event includes talks, debates, academic seminars, social events, cultural programmes and plenaries.

 
      
Canadian school of peacebuilding
The summer courses at the Canadian School of Peacebuilding in Winnipeg will take place on 12-16 and 19-23 June 2017. Topics include peacebuilding in journalism, the refugee challenge, indigenous legal traditions, agroecological peacebuilding, and more.     
 
 
Congress on crime prevention

The 11th Annual International Forum within the 22nd German Congress on Crime Prevention will take place in Hannover, Germany (19-20 June). The English programme is now available online.

 
      
World Mediation Forum
The WMO Symposium will take place on 17-19 October in Berlin, dealing with 'Integrated Mediation and Conflict Studies of International Interest'. Most sessions will deal with conflict resolution in different settings, not only in criminal justice.       
 
 
Eurocrim 2017
Abstract submission is now open (til 15 June) for participating in the 17th Annual Conference of the European Society of Criminology (Cardiff, UK, 13-16 Sept) on Challenging ‘Crime’ and ‘Crime Control’ in Contemporary Europe.       
 
CoE guidelines on community sanctions 
      The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (CoE) adopted a new guidelines document for organisations managing community sanctions and measures in Member States. 
 
 
Equinet factsheet

 

Equinet has produced a factsheet and a compendium of good practices on the work of equality bodies on the integration of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.

 
 
Inspiring library on arts and justice
      The Evidence Library is an online library including key research and evaluation documents on the impact of arts-based projects, programmes and interventions within the criminal justice system. It contains over 90 evaluations from 32 arts organisations and 37 academic institutions.
